David Sedaris’s Standing
By took place in airport. Sedaris talked about how the airport is a trap
that turns average human being into monsters. He says that every time he fly’s
there is delay which creates conversation that normally two people wouldn’t talk
about in public. Through every weird conversation
that he hears he has some kind of input on what he thinks about the situation.
I like how you end your summary--why do you think Sedaris comments on every situation? Could this be part of his purpose?
